Be Part of the Solution

You join by purchasing a “share” of the season’s bounty. In return for your one time financial commitment we plant, nurture and tend an assortment of vegetables, herbs, some fruit and flowers throughout the growing season. We do take payments – see options on the membership form.

From mid May to the end of October we harvest the produce at its peak of flavor and nutrition in the morning, and you can have it that afternoon! Now that’s fresh!

As a member, you get to know who’s growing your food and how. You can see that your food is free from pesticides, chemical fertilizers and genetic engineering. We all benefit by a system that promotes locally grown, high-quality, hand-crafted food. Joining our farm is ideal if you are interested in or committed to eating seasonally AND supporting local farmers.

Our Crops

arugula, basil, beans, beets, broccoli, cabbage, canteloupe, carrots, chard, collards, cucumbers, eggplant, fresh herbs, garlic, kale, lettuce, mustard greens, onions, parsley, parsnips, peas, peppers, potatoes, pumpkins, radishes, salad mix, scallions, spinach, tomatoes, muskmelons, winter squash, zucchini. Please note: On occasion a crop may fail due to conditions beyond our control.

What’s in a share?

The cost of a share is $530. A share works out to be a good amount for households who cook most meals at home. Each growing season has its unique challenges. The weekly shares consists of 5-15 different items, and weigh from 3-18 pounds, all depending on the season.

How does this work?

Our season runs 24 weeks from mid May through October. The cost of a share is $530. A share works out to be a good amount for households of 2 to 4 who cook most meals at home.

Once a week you go to your chosen pick up site to get your produce. We have pick ups at our farm on Mondays from 5:00 – 6:30pm. On Tuesdays we have a pick up in the Parkrose neighborhood, near NE 148th and Halsey from 5:00 – 6:30pm. Our N/NE pick up in the Piedmont neighborhood is on Thursdays from 4:30 – 7pm. This is generally a festive time during which members are weighing, counting, bagging, visiting and sharing ideas. We are always there to help out, answer questions, offer recipes and chat.

Farm pick ups are Mondays, 5:00 – 6:30pm. Our farm is located at 29820 E. Woodard Road Troutdale OR 97060.

We give the exact address to our Parkrose and Piedmont sites to members only. Our Parkrose pick ups are Tuesdays, 5:00 – 6:30pm, near NE 148th and Halsey, close to Glendoveer Park.

Our N/NE Portland pick ups are Thursdays, 4:30 – 7pm in the Historic Piedmont neighborhood near Peninsula Park.

Free Range Meat – Pastured, antibiotic and hormone free eggs, chicken, pork and turkey are also available from our partner/friends at Terra Farma. Orders taken and filled during pick ups or you can pre-order a seasons’ worth of eggs.

U-Pick Blackberries - When in season, bring your own containers and take as much as you could possibly want!

Volunteer Opportunities Galore! - There’s always room for an extra pair of hands, whether in the fields, on the phone, or at the computer.
